Calculate Your Body Mass Index
BMI Calculator - Calculate Your Body Mass IndexBMI or "Body Mass Index" is an approximation of the body fat percentage (adipose tissue), using a height versus weight calculation. It is not an absolute accurate calculation, as body compositions can vary between individuals. The BMI calculator relies on average body compositions to make the calculation and therefore the values can be misleading for some individuals. As an example, BMI is not accurate with extremely muscular bodies, as muscle is much heavier than fat and throws the calculation off. If your body is of typical makeup for your weight, then BMI can be a very accurate calculation.

Use the easiest and most widely accepted method of determining whether you are obese or not by measuring your Body Mass Index, or BMI. To calculate your body mass index (BMI), use our BMI CALCULATOR.

Body mass index (BMI) is measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both adult men and women.

  • Enter your weight (lb) and height (m) using measures.
  • Click on compute and your BMI will appear in the box placed at the abdomen area of the figure.

BMI Categories:

  • A normal BMI = 18.5 - 24.9;
  • Overweight = 25.0 - 29.9;
  • Obese = 30 or greater; and
  • Morbidly obese = 40 or greater.
