| How does it work? |
It works by preventing your body from absorbing some of the fat you eat. The active ingredient in Alli attaches to some of the natural enzymes in the digestive system and prevents absorption of about one-quarter of the fat in the foods you eat. Undigested fat cannot be absorbed and passes through the body naturally. |
It works in a very unique way. It blocks receptors that would otherwise receive messages of hunger and transmit those messages to the brain and making it less enjoyable to eat, drink and smoke! |
It works with chemicals called neurotransmitters in your brain. It actually stimulates your neuron bundles to release a particular group of neurotransmitters known as catecholamines. They signal a fight or flight response in your body which, in turn, puts a halt to the hunger signal. As a result, you lose your appetite because your brain doesn’t receive the hunger message. |
| How much weight can you expect to loss? |
That depends on how closely you follow a reduced-calorie, low-fat diet, get regular physical activity, and take alli capsules as directed. The results indicate that up to 50% more weight can be lost with regular use of the medicine. |
Tests show that patients besides losing up to 30lb in weight, has reduced risks for heart attack by improving levels of "good" cholesterol, lowering tri-glyclerides and improving insulin sensitivity. |
Assuming you have a healthy diet, and exercise moderately, you can expect to lose 10 to 15 pounds in the first month. Results will vary depending on the individual and their lifestyle. |
